PROJECT MANAGER (FIFO)

📍 Red Lake, Ontario, Canada.

DHN & Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead project delivery on major mining infrastructure projects in North West Ontario.

Operating in a dynamic remote environment, you will play a key role in leading the project team, managing contractor performance, and coordinating day-to-day site activities while maintaining strong alignment between the client, contractors and site teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the project team to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with schedule, budget and quality expectations.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities and interactions between the client and multiple contractors
  • Provide leadership and direction to site teams to maintain alignment with project objectives
  • Monitor and report on project progress, performance and risks
  • Proactively manage commercial, technical and delivery issues as they arise
  • Ensure effective contractor management and site coordination
  • Lead a safety-first culture, promoting a no-compromise approach to safety across all site activities

The ideal candidate will bring:

✔ 10+ years’ experience delivering mining construction or infrastructure projects

✔ Demonstrated experience leading owner’s teams on remote mine sites

✔ Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement capability

✔ Proven ability to manage complex projects in challenging or remote environments

✔ Strong commercial awareness and ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively

✔ A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to safety and operational excellence

This role operates on a FIFO roster from major Canadian centres, supporting projects in the Red Lake, Ontario – known for its rich mining history and stunning landscapes.

PROJECTS CONTROL SPECIALIST

📍Adelaide, South Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will lead integrated cost and schedule reporting, forecasting, progress tracking and change control, delivering clear insights that support effective project decision-making in collaboration with contractors and client teams.

You will play a critical role in driving project performance and accountability across major mining projects, ensuring accurate scheduling, cost control, forecasting and reporting within complex site environments.

 

 The ideal candidate will bring:

✔ Background in engineering, construction, quantity surveying or project management

✔ Advanced scheduling and cost control skills (tools + principles)

✔ Experience in mining, energy or renewables construction

✔ Strong field presence and client-side reporting capabilities

✔ Commitment to disciplined project delivery

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
